Via the coop contact I became a member of the Woodcraft Folk in the early 1950's. I believe our group meet at a venue on the Dudley road in Birmingham. We had a camp site in Redditch which we visited often. In 1957 our group was without a leader and at 16 I stepped in for a period before leaving in 1959 to join the Royal Navy. I went to the Danbury camp, great experience.
